*Description*

Work within the designated sales channel to grow the surgical glove portfolio. Interface with sales teams, customers, and divisional resources throughout the sales cycle (pre-sales meetings, product evaluations, product conversions, post-sales customer support, and training as needed).

• Develop, manage and drive a sales pipeline by working and traveling with field sale team and calling on new and existing customers in collaboration with other local Medline sales representatives.
• Prepare and present product proposals to customers and demonstrate how Medline’s products and processes can meet customer needs.
• Present products throughout surgical facilities. Work directly with staff and physicians to find a suitable product for their individual needs within the clinical setting.
• Setup and conduct product evaluations and conversions along with the local Medline sales representatives.
• Present evaluation results to the customer and close the business.
• Assist in product conversion process insuring that we are pulling through anticipated sales volumes.
• Participate in training of other Medline sales representatives on our product portfolio and sales strategies.
• Gather data and information on customers and participate in developing presentations relative to keeping customers current on product enhancements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree.

Relevant Work Experience

• At least 1-2 years sales or related business experience.
• Experience evaluating and selling medical supplies/devices in the operating room preferred.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels.

• Willing to travel at least 75% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
• Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Previous experience selling in hospital and/or healthcare industry.
